Pleasure Ride in aid of The Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance

Class 7 (20 miles/34 km)
Class 8 (11 miles/18 km)

The 18km route takes you from the venue at Treborough Common (4 miles east of Wheddon Cross), across the hills, with beautiful views and
good going. It then passes into the woods to the car park at Kennisham, returning to the venue via a different route over Colly Hill.

The longer 34km route follows the same route to Kennisham, but then passes over private land to Wimbleball Lake and then back to Kennisham
through Kings Brompton Forest, once again using a private track through the woods and over open fields. The route finally returns to the venue
by using the same route as the 18km Pleasure Ride.

Profits from the Pleasure Ride will be donated to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.

The entry fee for Class 7 is £20 and £15 for Class 8.
This entry fee includes third party liability insurance for the ride.

There will be a Racing Rally run by Becky Kennen and Caroline Furze at Walter Dennis's training establishment for all in the area on 28th July.

The cost will be £5 per head to go to Charity.

Members can bring horses if they don't have ponies as this is a learning day and will help even for cross country riding. All instruction and use of facilities are being provided for free so all the money will be donated to the selected Charities.

On 18th August there will be a Race Day to be held at St Leonards, Launceston for any member of Pony Club from anywhere.

The races will be novice races, including M & M races to encourage anyone who is interested in racing to have a go even if they don't have a "racing" pony.
